None None On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution authorizing the condemnation of certain real property for public stree~ put-poses to widen Delhi Road and create a connecting link between the northerly and southerly portions of Orange Avenue" was read, considered, the following vote: designated Resolution No. 53-88 and passed by Ayes, Councilmen Noes, Councilmen Absent, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.NcBride, Thomas F. Larsen, Milford W. Courtney R. Chandler. None None On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance granted to L.Z.Cone, to permit use of the dwelling at 209 South B~oadway for accountants~ and real estate office and other professional offices. ,, On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance granted to Ione Edna Hosman to permit construction of a residence to be situated 13 feet from the existing apartment building in place of the required 15 feet, at 330-334 West Washington Avenue. Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending reclassification of property east of Standard Avenue from Delhi Road the City Limits line, which is approximately 335 feet north of St. Andrews Place, from R-1 to R-3 District. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the Amendment Application wa~s referred to the Council as a whole for further study. Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending - adoption of the Subdivision Ordinance as approved by the Commission at meeting held May 25, 1953. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the matter was referred to the Council as a whole for reconsideration at the next meeting and copies to be fur- nlshed each member of the Council. Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending adoption of the Billboard Ordinance as approved by the Commission at meeting held May 25, 1953. On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen and carried, the matter was referred to the City-Attorney for recommendation. # Communication was read from the Planning Co~mission.recSmmending approval of Tentative Map of Tract No. 1888, submitted by Hahn St. John consisting of 104 lots located near the southeast corner of Flower ~ and Edinger Streets.
