Chandler. <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried, the <br /> <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution authorizing the condemnation of <br />certain real property for public stree~ <br />put-poses to widen Delhi Road and create a <br />connecting link between the northerly and <br />southerly portions of Orange Avenue" <br /> <br />was read, considered, <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />designated Resolution No. <br /> <br />53-88 and passed by <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />William Jerome, J.L.NcBride, <br />Thomas F. Larsen, Milford W. <br />Courtney R. Chandler. <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br /> <br />granted to L.Z.Cone, to permit use of the dwelling at 209 South <br /> <br /> B~oadway for accountants~ and real estate office and other professional <br /> <br />offices. <br />,, <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br />granted to Ione Edna Hosman to permit construction of a residence to <br />be situated 13 feet from the existing apartment building in place of <br />the required 15 feet, at 330-334 West Washington Avenue. <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending <br />reclassification of property east of Standard Avenue from Delhi Road <br /> <br />the City Limits line, which is approximately 335 feet north of St. <br /> <br />Andrews Place, from R-1 to R-3 District. On motion of Councilman <br /> <br />Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the Amendment Application wa~s <br />referred to the Council as a whole for further study. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending - <br />adoption of the Subdivision Ordinance as approved by the Commission <br />at meeting held May 25, 1953. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded <br />by Jerome and carried, the matter was referred to the Council as a <br /> <br />whole for reconsideration at the next meeting and copies to be fur- <br /> <br />nlshed each member of the Council. <br /> <br /> Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending <br /> adoption of the Billboard Ordinance as approved by the Commission at <br /> <br />meeting held May 25, 1953. On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded <br />by Larsen and carried, the matter was referred to the City-Attorney <br /> <br />for recommendation. <br /># <br />Communication was read from the Planning Co~mission.recSmmending <br />approval of Tentative Map of Tract No. 1888, submitted by Hahn St. John <br />consisting of 104 lots located near the southeast corner of Flower ~ <br /> <br />and Edinger Streets.
