JENSEN <br />WHERE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED DENIAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Planning Commission after public hearing, <br /> <br />on notice, has recommended denial of Variance Application <br /> <br />No. 1243, and the City Council after consideration has found <br />that the health and welfare of the citizens of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ana will be benefited by the use of the hereinafter deecribed <br /> <br />property for a parking lot and has decided that said variance <br /> <br />should be granted upon said conditions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council <br /> <br />hereby grants a Variance on Application No. 1243 to permit the use <br /> <br />of property known and numbered as 1813 and 1817 West Sixteenth <br /> <br />Street, Santa Aha, California, lying in the County of Orange, State <br /> <br />of California, described as: <br /> <br />1813 West Sixteenth Street, Santa Aha, California <br />A.P. 4-042-17; South 126.31 feet of the North 266.31 <br />feet of Lot 3, Record of Survey 3-7. <br /> <br />1817 West Sixteenth Street, Santa Aha, California <br />A.P. 4-042-18; South 125.20 feet of the North 265.20 <br />feet of Lot 2, Record of Survey 3-7. <br /> <br />in an R-2 District, to be used for a parking lot. Said Variance <br /> <br />is hereby granted upon the conditions that: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />The rights of ingress and egress to Sixteenth Street <br />be dedicated to the City; it being understood that <br />there shall not be any granting back of the rights <br />of ingress and egress. <br /> <br />(2) A six foot high cement block fence shall be con- <br /> structed along the setback line. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />The area and the parkway between the sidewalk and <br />setback line shall be planted with appropriate land- <br />scaping plants and that said area and parkway be <br />maintained. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />That a sprinkler system shall be installed for the <br />maintenance of said plantings in said area herein- <br />before described. <br /> <br />(5) A six foot high cement block fence shall be con- <br /> structed on the West ~ide of the lot. <br /> <br />(6) The area shall be completely blacktopped. <br /> <br /> <br />
