AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVDD: That the City of Santa Ana <br />believes that this virgin area can best serve the people of this <br />State and County by being adequately planned and restricted in use <br />and design before any change in surface topography or any construc- <br />tion ks undertaken or approved and seeks now only the best interest <br />of the State, the greatest service to the citizens of Southern <br />California and the greatest economy to the tax payers of the State <br />in the creation, operation and servicing of a major new campus of <br />the University of California in the area originally selected by <br />leading citizens of the City of Santa Aha. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of April, 1960. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ' C EaK OF-T - COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, MARION SUTTNER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk <br />of the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing <br />Resolution was regularly introduced to said Council at its <br />regular meeting held on the 18th day of April, 1960, and was at <br />said meeting regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> AYES, COUNCILMEN: Royal E.
