Inspectors) <br /> <br />In Re <br />Authorization to <br />the City Manager <br />(submit bid to <br />City of San Clemente) <br /> <br />In Re <br />Communication <br />Chamber of Commerce <br />(Off-street parking) <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Dahl, <br />seconded by Larsen and carried, the bid of W. C. Rados, in the sum.of <br />$17,486.00 was accepted for the construction of a 24" R.C. pipe storm <br />sewer on Nyrtle Street from Maple Street to Main Street, and all <br />other bids rejected. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Dahl, <br />seconded by Jerome and carried, the bid of George Dunton, in the sum <br />of $7,225.40 was accepted for the furnishing of five two-door auto- <br />mobiles for use of the Building Inspectors and all other bids <br /> <br />reJected. <br />. <br />The City Manager advised that the City of San Clemente will receive <br />bids on a used 1951 International Ca.wood Packer and requested author- <br />ization to enter a proposal in the sum of $5,500.00. On motion of <br />Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried, the authorization <br />was approved. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Chamber of Commerce advising that it <br />is proposed to locate the parking lot on the west side of Bush Street <br />between Fifth and Sixth Street, as recommended in the report approved <br />by the Chamber and forwarded to the Council February 20th, 1953, and <br />s~ggestir~ that the Council appropriate $92,000.00 for the project. <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br />communication was referred to the Council as a whole. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Dahl and carried, the City <br /> <br /> 1953, at 7:30 P.M., in the <br /> <br />Council adjourned to Monday, August 10th, <br />Council Chamber. <br /> <br />,Clerk of the Counci~ <br />A~lstant Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
