<br />Communication was read from the Assistant Engineer together with six
<br />filed Claims against Nick M. Guho, Contractor for damages to improve-
<br />ments on West Pine Street and on motion of Councilman McBride,
<br />
<br />seconded by Larsen and carried, the eommunicatlon and claims were
<br />
<br />on
<br />
<br />received, filed and total amount of claims ordered withheld' from the
<br />
<br />contractorts final payment.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance,
<br />
<br />motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the follow-
<br />
<br />ing Ordinance entitled:

<br />#Ordinance amending Santa Ana Municipal Code
<br />by amending A~ticle IX thereof creating changes
<br />in district boundaries and by amending Sheet
<br />Number 26 of the Districting Map to show the
<br />reclassification#

<br />from I%-1 to ~-2 District, all lots in Tract No. 1788 on the west side
<br />
<br />of King Street to the Santa Ana River between 15th and Washington
<br />Avenue, except Lots l, 37, 38, 39 and 40 facing King Street which
<br />
<br />shall remain as R-1 District, in accordance with the Amendment
<br />
<br />Application of Walter Oole etux, was considered, designated Ordinance
<br />No. N~-15 and passed by the following vote:
