PRELIMINARY <br />DESIGN <br />Sample Scope Of Services <br />The tables below illustrate the typical detailed tasks and deliverables. <br />Attend kick-off meeting at City to discuss scope, schedule, and lines and methods <br />of communication between Psomas team and City staff. <br />Verify pipe information from "as-builts," confirmed by cleaning and CCTV. <br />Develop/confirm existing and build -out flow using tributary area, land use and <br />flow factors. Model system to confirm flows and d/D for each reach. <br />Perform utility research by contacting all potential utility companies and <br />conducting field walk. <br />Develop/confirm required pipe sizing using build -out flow and City capacity <br />criteria. <br />Provide survey services as required. <br />Conduct up to two (2) 15-foot-deep borings. <br />Prepare draft PDR, meet with City staff to review comments, and finalize PDR. <br />Deliverables: Utility research correspondence and plans gathered to date, CCTV logs <br />and video file, geotechnical report (all on digital media), draft and final PDR, meeting <br />agendas and minutes. <br />Based on preliminary alignment, perform up to five (5) potholes to verify existing <br />utility depths. <br />50% DESIGN prepare 50% PS&E submittal. <br />Deliverables: Final utility research correspondence and plans, 50% PS&E submittal. <br />Coordinate work with City and impacted agencies prior to securing approval to <br />proceed with final design. <br />FINAL DESIGN Prepare 90% PS&E submittal including a project description and forms suitable <br />for City staff's use in preparing environmental documentation for the project. <br />®Prepare 100% PS&E submittal based on comments from 90% submittal review <br />and other requirements. <br />Prepare agenda for, attend and prepare minutes for monthly meetings with City <br />staff during the design phase to review project issues and status reports and <br />monitor schedule progress. <br />Deliverables: 90% PS&E submittal with return of 50% City redlines and comments; 100% <br />PS&E submittal with return of 90% City redlines and comments; Final PS&E submittal <br />(ready for printing/bidding) with 100% City redlines and comments, meeting agenda <br />and minutes. <br />
