<br />Resolution No. 2025-XXXX <br />Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br />Section 7. Audio, Video and Photographic Recording. <br />(a) As set forth in the Brown Act, any person attending an open session of a City <br />Council Meeting shall have the right to record the proceedings with an audio <br />or video recorder or camera unless the City Council by majority vote <br />determines that the recording cannot continue without noise, illumination or <br />obstruction of view that constitutes or would constitute, a persistent disruption <br />to the meeting. <br /> <br />(b) No person shall obstruct the aisles, entrances or exits of the Council <br />Chambers while recording, photographing or filming the City Council meeting. <br />The presiding officer may order any person obstructing the aisles, entrance s <br />or exits while recording, photographing or filming of the City Council meeting <br />to move to any another area of the Council Chambers. <br /> <br />Section 8. The provisions of Sections 4, 5, 6 and 7 of this resolution shall apply to <br />meetings of committees of the City Council, as may be modified from time to time by <br />such committees. <br />Section 9. This Resolution shall supersede Resolution No. 2023-047 and shall <br />take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council.
