RESOLUTION NO. 60-180 <br /> FIXING THE SALARY OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore on the 19th day of July 1959 the City <br />Council adopted Resolution No. 59-182 establishing and fixing the <br />rate of salary for the City Manager as $1,458.33 per month, and the <br />same has remained unchanged while other salaries in the City have <br />been increased; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, salaries in the City Management field have continued <br />to increase at an accelerated rate, so that now the City of Santa <br />Aha is paying a City Manager salary that is materially below the <br />average of cities of similar size in this area, and to, in part <br /> <br />effect this difference <br />increasing this salary; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />the Council has determined the necessity for <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED: That the salary for the posi- <br /> <br />tion of City Manager is hereby fixed and established at the rate of <br />$1,750.00 per month. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said salary shall be paid in <br />the same manner and at the same time as other monthly salaries of <br />the City are paid, and that said new salary rate shall take effect <br />and be paid from the 1st day of September, 1960. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of September, 1960. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> t CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />I, MARION SUTTNER, <br /> <br />do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing Resolution <br />was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held <br />on the 19th day of September, 1960, and was at said meeting regularly <br /> <br /> <br />
