RESOLUTION NO, 59-182 <br />MANAGER <br /> <br />SALARY OE THE CITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore on the 5th day of August, 1957, the City <br />Council adopted Resolution No. 57-197 establishing and fixing the <br />rate of salary for the Cit~ Manager as !~1333.33 per month, and the <br />same has remained unchanged while other salaries in the City have <br />been increased; and <br /> <br /> ~4UtEREAS, salaries in the City Management field have continued <br />to increase at an accelerated rate, so that now the City of Santa <br />Aha is paying a City Manager salary that is materially below the <br />average of cities of simila~ size in this area, and to, in part, <br />offset this difference the Council has determined the necessity for <br />increasing this salary; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the salary for the posi- <br />tion of City Manager is hereby fixed and established at the rate of <br />~14~8.33 per month. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said salary shall be paid in <br />the same manner and at the same time as other monthly salaries of <br />the City are paid, and that said new salary rate shall take effect <br />and be paid from the 1st day of July, 1959. <br /> <br /> PASSED AitD ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting hold on the 6th day of July, 1959. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> · CLERK OF gE COUNC'IL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY 0 F ORAl, GE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />I, ~ARION SUTTNER, <br /> <br />do hereby certify that I sm the Clerk of <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Sauta Ana; that the foregoing Resolution <br /> <br />was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held <br />on the 6th day of July, 1959, ~ud was at said meeting regularly passed <br /> <br />and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> COUNCIL~iEN: Royal ~.
