<br />EXHIBIT C <br />Insurance Provisions <br />C-1 INSURANCE AMOUNTS. Contractor shall maintain the following insurance <br />for the duration of this Agreement: <br />Contractor shall procure and maintain for the duration of the contract, and for 5 years <br />thereafter, insurance against claims for injuries to persons or damage to property which <br />may arise from or in connection with the performance of the work hereunder by the <br />Contractor, its agents, representatives, employees, and sub-contractors. <br />MINIMUM SCOPE AND LIMIT OF INSURANCE <br />Coverage shall be at least as broad as: <br />1. Commercial General Liability (CGL). Insurance Services Office (ISO) Form CG <br />0001 covering CGL on an “occurrence” basis, including products and completed <br />operations, property damage, bodily injury and personal & advertising injury with limits <br />no less than $3,000,000 per occurrence and $5,000,000 in the aggregate. Umbrella and <br />excess insurance policies can be used to meet the required limits. <br />2. Automobile Liability (AL). Insurance Services Office Form CA 0001 covering Code <br />1(any auto), with combined single limit no less than $3,000,000. <br />3. Workers’ Compensation (WC). As required by the State of California, with statutory <br />limits, and Employers’ Liability insurance with a limit of no less than$1,000,000 per <br />accident, policy, employee for bodily injury or disease. <br />4. Builder’s Risk (Course of Construction) (BR). Utilizing an “All Risk” (Special Perils) <br />coverage form, with limits equal to the completed value of the project and no co- <br />insurance penalty provisions. <br />5. Surety Bonds as described below. <br />These insurance requirements shall not in any way act to reduce coverage that is <br />broader or includes higher limits than the minimums shown above. If Contractor <br />maintains broader coverage and/or higher limits than the minimums shown above, City <br />shall be entitled to the broader coverage and/or the higher limits maintained by <br />Contractor. Insurance provided under this contract shall not contain any restrictions or <br />limitations which are inconsistent with City’s rights under this contract. <br />C-1
