<br />On recommendation of the Acting Chief of Police and on motion of
<br />Councilman Jerome, seconded by McBride and carried, the request of
<br />Ralph Perez and Dee Padilla to conduct a public dance at the American
<br />Legion Hall on December 25th, was g~anted.
<br />
<br />Communication was read from the City Engineer recommending that a
<br />classification be established and eY-mination held for Director of
<br />Public Works, and on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by McBride
<br />and carried, the matter was referred to the Manager.
<br />
<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution,
<br />on motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Lateen and carried, the
<br />following Resolution entitled:

<br />
<br />from William T. and Louise M, Reetz, granting certain real property
<br />for right-cf-way purposes for an extension of Orange Avenue, was con-
<br />sidered and passed by thee following vote:
