In Re Escrow Instructions First Natl. Bank in Santa Ana On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dab1 and carried, the Mayo was authorized to sign escrow instructions for the purchase of proper- ty at the southwest corner of Flower and Santiago Creek for additional right-of-way for access to Santiago Creek, from the First National In Re Rose. No. 53-171 Accepting Deed First Natl. Bank (Flower & Santiago Creek) Bank in Santa Ana. # ~he Oouncil having unanimously waivedl, the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried, the following Resolution entitled: #R~solution No. 53-171 accepting grant deed" from the First National Bank in Santa Ana for property located at the southwest corner of Flower and Santiago Creek for right-of-way, was In Re 0ommunication Shoreline Planning Assn. considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen William Jerome, J. L. McBride, Thomas F. Larsen, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen None. On motion of Councilman Dab1, seconded by McBride and carried, the communication of Shoreline Planning Association of California, Inc. urging that income derived from the state tidelands should be invested In Re Request Mary Snyder in state beaches, etc., was received and filed. On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen and carried, the request of Miss Mary Snyder for installation of signs prohibiting school oars parking on Walnut Street between Van Ness and Patton and on So. Van Ness Street between First and Walnut, was referred to the In Re Advertise for Bids on Cast Iron Pipe standing committee for report. On recommendation of the Engineer and on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids for 5000 feet of 8 inch cast iron pipe; bids to be opened In Re Resignation W.F. 0sborn, Fireman January Sth, 1954. # On motion of Councilman McBride, seconded by Larsen and carried, resignation of W. F. Osborn, Captain of the Fire Department, was the In Re Minutes of J.0. Sewer accepted. . On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the verified claim of Pacific Clay Products in the sum of $12,128.33 to be withheld from the contract of W. C. Rados on the sanitary sewer con- struction on Delhi Road between Main and Bristol,Was referred to the In Re Escrow Instructiohs Ralph J. Mitche]l,etu~ Manager, Attorney and Director of Finance for action. # On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried, action was deferred on the esc~ow instructions and deed signed by Ralph J. Mitchell, etux for right-of-way to eliminate the offset between Ohest~ nut and Main Street (Tustin) at Lyon Street, until such time as a written appraisal is obtained on the property.
