BUSINESSOWNERS COVERAGE FORM <br />Various provisions in this policy restrict coverage. Read the entire policy carefully to determine rights, duties and <br />what is and is not covered. <br />Throughout this Coverage Form the words "you" and "your" refer to the Named Insured shown in the <br />Declarations. The words "we", "us" and 'bur" refer to the company providing this insurance. <br />In SECTION II — LIABILITY, the word "insured" means any person or organization qualifying as such under <br />paragraph C. Who is an Insured. <br />Other words and phrases that appear in quotation marks have special meaning. Refer to paragraph G. Property <br />Definitions in SECTION I — PROPERTY and paragraph F. Liability and Medical Expenses Definitions in <br />SECTION II — LIABILITY. <br />SECTION I — PROPERTY (d) Appliances used for refrigerating, <br />A. Coverage ventilating, cooking, dishwashing <br />We will pay for direct physical loss of or damage to or laundering; <br />Covered Property at the premises described in the (6) If not covered by other insurance <br />Declarations caused by or resulting from any (a) Additions under construction, <br />Covered Cause of Loss. alterations and repairs to the <br />1. Property Not Covered. <br />a. Buildings, meaning the buildings and <br />structures at the premises described in the <br />Declarations, including: <br />(1) Completed additions; <br />(2) Fixtures, including outdoor fixtures; <br />(3) Permanently installed: <br />(a) Machinery; and <br />(b) Equipment; <br />(4) Your personal property in apartments, <br />rooms or common areas furnished by <br />you as the landlord; <br />(5) Personal property owned by you that <br />is used to maintain or service the <br />buildings or structures or the <br />premises, including: <br />(b) Materials, equipment, supplies <br />and temporary structures, on or <br />within 1,000 feet of the described <br />premises, used for making <br />additions, alterations or repairs to <br />the buildings or structures. <br />(7) Signs, whether or not they are <br />attached to covered buildings or <br />structures; <br />(8) Interior and Exterior Building glass if <br />you are a building owner; <br />(9) Fences and retaining walls located on <br />or within 1,000 feet of a covered <br />building or structure, whether or not <br />attached to buildings or structures, <br />except for retaining walls that are <br />used, in whole or in part, to contain <br />water. <br />b. Business Personal Property located in or <br />on the buildings or structures at the <br />described premises or in the open (or in a <br />vehicle) within 1,000 feet of the building or <br />structures or within 1,000 feet of the <br />premises described in the Declarations, <br />whichever distance is greater, including: <br />(1) Property you own that is used in your <br />business; <br />(a) Fire protection equipment; (2) Property of others that is in your care, <br />custody or control, including the cost <br />(b) Outdoor furniture; of labor, materials or services <br />(c) Floor coverings; and furnished or arranged by you on <br />personal property of others, except as <br />otherwise provided in SECTION I — <br />391-1003 08 16 Includes copyrighted material of Insurance Services Office, Inc., with its permission.
