CITY COUNCIL 13 JANUARY 21, 2025 <br />2. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost <br />of $1,000,000, which includes $731,255 for the construction contract, <br />$85,932 for contract administration, inspection, and testing, $73,126 project <br />contingency for unanticipated or unforeseen work due to the complexity and <br />extensive scope of this project, and $109,687 for additional work for contract <br />change orders needed to reduce the City’s sidewalk repairs backlog. <br /> <br />3. Award a construction contract to Aguilar & Calderon Corporation, the lowest <br />responsible bidder, in accordance with the base bid and bid alternates in the <br />amount of $731,255, subject to change orders, for construction of the Sidewalk <br />Replacement Project FY 24-25 Project (No. 25-6029), for a term <br />beginning January 21, 2025 and ending upon project completion, and authorize <br />the City Manager to execute the contract. <br /> <br />4. Determine that pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act the <br />recommended actions are exempt from further review. Categorical Exemption <br />Environmental Review No. ER-2024-102 was filed for Project No. 25-6029. <br /> <br />21. Agreements with National Safety Services, Inc., Ancon Marine, Inc. DBA <br />Ancon Services, and Pro Safety & Rescue, Inc. for Confined Space Rescue <br />and Safety Training Services (Non-General Fund) <br /> <br />Department(s): Public Works Agency <br /> <br />Recommended Action: Authorize the City Manager to execute agreements with <br />National Safety Services, Inc., Ancon Services, and Pro Safety & Rescue, Inc. to <br />provide confined space rescue and safety training services, for a term beginning <br />January 21, 2025 and expiring January 20, 2028 with provisions for two, one-year <br />extensions, for a total aggregate amount not to exceed $1,250,000 (Core <br />Agreement No. A-2025-003). <br /> <br />22. Agreement with T.R. Holliman & Associates, Inc. for On-Call Technical <br />Support for Water and Sewer-Related Projects (Non-General Fund) <br /> <br />Department(s): Public Works Agency <br /> <br />Recommended Action: Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with <br />T.R. Holliman & Associates for on-call technical support for multiple water and <br />sewer related projects and implement a template for completion of the City’s Cross <br />Connection Control Program Handbook, in an amount not to exceed $50,000, for a <br />one-year term beginning January 21, 2025 and expiring January 20, 2026 <br />(Agreement No. A-2025-004). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />City Council 5 – 13 2/4/2025
