R~SOLUTION 66-9 ORDERING VACATION OF A PORTION <br />OF STREET RUNNING NORTH FROM FIRST STREET ALONG <br />THE WEST LINE OF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA RAILWAY <br />DEPOT GROUNDS AND A PORTION OF SECOND STREET <br />RUNNING FROM SAID WEST LINE EASTERLY TO THE TRACK <br />OF SAID RAILWAY COMPANY, SAID STREETS B~ZNG UNIMPROVED <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 3rd, 1963, the City Council adopted <br />Resolution 63-155 declaring intention to vacate portions of unimproved <br />streets described herein, fixing the date of p~blic hearing on the <br />question of said vacation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, public hearing was duly held on said question on notice <br />contained in said published Resolution and on posted notices as re- <br />quired by law, which said hearing was continued and, after further <br />hearing, was closed and action thereon was continued without date. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha hereby finds that that portion of street running <br />north fro~ First Street along the west line of the Southern California <br />Railway Depot grounds and that portion of Second Street running fro~a <br />said west line easterly to the track of said Railway Company, as <br />herein described, are unnecessary for present or prospective street <br />purposes and hereby makes its order vacating and abandoning for street <br />purposes those certain streets or street easements in the City of <br />Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of CalifOrnia, described as: <br /> <br />C~m~tencing at the intersection of the center line of Second Street <br />extended with the West line of the Southern California Railway <br />Depot grounds in the City of Santa Aha, thence East at a uniform <br />width of sixty feet, thirty feet on each side of said center line <br />extended, to the track of the railroad of the said Southern <br />California Railway Company. <br /> <br />Also a strip of land sixty feet in width, co~m.encing on the South <br />line of Second Street nearly opposite to the track scales located <br />on the "Y" of said Railway Company in said City of Santa Ana, and <br />extendingSoutherly in a uniform width of sixty feet to First <br />Street, in said City of Santa Aha; both of said lines being shown <br />by dotted lines on the map on file in the Office of the City Clerk, <br />City of Santa Aha. <br /> <br /> Said easement being the land described in that particular agreement <br /> between the City of Santa Aha and the Southern California Railway <br /> Company recorded March 13, 1893, in Book 82, Page 108, Deeds, <br /> Orange County Records. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17~h day of Janugry, 1966. <br />~ATTEST: L / <br /> CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
