Appoint members to serve as representatives through December 2026 to the <br />Joint School Collaboration City Council Standing Subcommittee <br /> <br />2. Disband the Legislative City Council Standing Subcommittee and the Public <br />Safety and Homelessness City Council Standing Subcommittee <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-005 entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. <br />2021-089 ESTABLISHING THE PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELESSNESS <br />CITY COUNCIL STANDING SUBCOMMITTEE AND THE LEGISLATIVE <br />CITY COUNCIL STANDING SUBCOMMITTEE AND REPEALING <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022-082 ESTABLISHING THE JOINT SCHOOL <br />COLLABORATION STANDING SUBCOMMITTEE BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AND THE SANTA ANA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> <br />MINUTES: City Clerk Jennifer L. Hall provided a brief summary of the item. <br /> <br />Mayor Amezcua inquired regarding the number of meetings held by the Public <br />Safety Subcommittee. <br /> <br />City Manager Alvaro Nuñez stated that since he has been at the City Manager’s <br />Office, the Legislative and Public Safety Sub Committees have not met. <br /> <br />City Clerk Hall clarified that the Legislative Subcommittee last met on September <br />26, 2023 and held two meeting in 2022 and the Public Safety and Homelessness <br />Subcommittee has only held one meeting on May 10, 2022. <br /> <br />Councilmember Bacerra spoke in support of disbanding the Public Safety and <br />Homelessness Subcommittee, the Legislative Subcommittee, and the Joint School <br />Collaboration Subcommittee. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Bacerra moved to approve the resolution as <br />amended, to disband the Public Safety and Homelessness Subcommittee, <br />the Legislative Subcommittee, and the Joint School Collaboration <br />Subcommittee, seconded by Mayor Amezcua. <br />BUSINESS CALENDAR
