RESOLUTION 66-135 ORDERING THE VACATION OF
<br />CERTAIN RIGHT OF WAY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF AVALON
<br />AVENUE, EAST OF HATHAWAY STREET, RESERVING AN
<br />EASEMENT THEREIN FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, on September 6, 1966, the City Council adopted
<br />Resolution 66-126 declaring intention to vacate certain right of
<br />way on the south side of Avalon Avenue, east of Hathaway Street,
<br />herein described, and to reserve therein public utility easement;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, on October 3rd, 1966, public hearing was duly held
<br />on said street vacation on posted notices and the publication of
<br />said Resolution 66-126.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby
<br />finds that that certain right of way on the south side of Avalon
<br />Avenue, east of Hathaway Street, is unnecessary for present or
<br />prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning
<br />and vacating for street purposes and does hereby make its order
<br />abandoning and vacating for street purposes that certain right of way
<br />in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California,
<br />described as:
<br />
<br />Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 1 of Tract 4528 as
<br />shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 162, pages 3 and 4,
<br />Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence
<br />North 0° 09' 19" West 119.80 feet along the West line of said
<br />Lot 1 to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly
<br />and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along
<br />said curve through a central angle of 90° 08' 40" an arc distance
<br />of 23.60 feet to a tangent line; thence South 89~ 59' 20" West
<br />45.11 feet along said tangent line to the Northeast corner of
<br />Lot 57 of Tract 5910 as shown on a map thereof, recorded in
<br />Book 217, pages 49 and 50, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
<br />County, California; thence South 0~ 09' 19" East and along the
<br />East line of said Lot 57 and its Southerly prolongation a
<br />distance of 134.83 feet; thence South 89° 58' 59" East 30.00 feet
<br />to the point of beginning,
<br />
<br />RESERVING an easement and right of way to construct, lay, install,
<br />use, maintain, alter, add to, repair, replace, inspect and/or
<br />remove, at any time and from time to time, aerial and undergrouhd
<br />electric lines and communication lines, consisting of poles, guys,
<br />and markers and other fixtures and appliances, for conveying
<br />electric energy to be used for light, heat, power, telephone and/or
<br />other related uses, in, on, over, under and through that certain
<br />real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State
<br />of California, described as follows:

<br />The Southerly 6.00 feet and the Westerly 6.00 feet of the above
<br />described property.

<br /> PASSED ~ND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of October, 1966.
