RESOLUTION 69-1 APPROVING MAP, DECLARING INTENTION <br />TO VACATE A PORTION OF CENTRAL AVENUE BETWEEN MAIN <br />STP~EET AND CYPRESS AVENUE AND GIVING NOTICE OF <br />HEARING THEREON <br /> <br /> W~qEREAS, a request for the vacation of a strip of land <br />10 feet wide along the north side of Central Avenue between Main <br />Street and Cypress Avenue has been received by the City Council, <br />and the Director of Public Works and the Planning Commission have <br />recommended that a public hearing be set on the question of said <br />street vacation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT P~ESOLVED: That the City Council <br />hereby approves the map attached hereto and orders the same filed <br />with the original of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk <br />of the Council, and reference is hereby made to said map for the <br />exterior boundaries of said right of way proposed to be vacated. <br /> <br /> The City Council declares its intention to proceed under the <br />provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 (Sections 8300 through <br />8374 of the California Streets and Highways Code) to vacate that <br />certain portion of Central Avenue lying between Main Street and <br />Cypress Avenue in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of <br />California, described as: <br /> <br /> That portion of the North 10.00 feet of Central Avenue (80.00 <br /> feet wide), as shown on a map of "South Santa Ana", recorded <br /> in Book 5, Page 43, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, <br /> California, bounded on the East by the Southerly prolongation of <br /> the East line of Lot 9, Block E, of said map of "South Santa Ana" <br /> and bounded on the West by the Southerly prolongation of the West <br /> line of Lot 11, Block E, of said map of "South Santa Ana". <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That February 3, 1969, at the hour <br />of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Third and Main <br />Streets, Santa Ana, California, is hereby fixed as the time and <br />place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said <br />proposed street vacation. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha is hereby ordered to publish this Resolution one <br />time in the Register, and the Director of Public Works is ordered to <br />post notices of street vacation conspicuously along the line of said <br />street, stating the passage of this Resolution of Intention to vacate <br />and the time and the place of hearing thereon. Said notices shall be <br />posted not more than 300 feet apart and at least three (3) such <br />notices shall be posted. Both publication and posting shall be <br />completed at least ten (10) days before the date of hearing. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the <br /> 6th day of J nuary, <br /> <br />CLERK OF TH~COUNClL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA)" <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
