No. 54-3 <br />Est. green zone. <br />E.side French btn <br />3rd and 4th Sts. <br /> <br />In Re <br />Maintenance Engr. <br />Joint Outfall Sewer <br />to sign affidavit <br />(propane delivered <br />to tanks) <br /> <br />In Re <br />Request <br />Mary Snyder <br /> <br />In Re <br />Request for <br />d~iveways - U.S. <br />Rubber Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br />Petition <br />Lincoln School P.T.A. <br /> (stop sign) <br /> <br />In Re <br />Checking Petition <br />(Vehicle Parking <br />District) <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, <br />on motion of Councilman McBride, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 54-3 concerning parking limitations <br /> and curb markings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />establishing a green zone on the east side of French Street between <br />Third and Fourth Streets, in accordance with the request of Graybar <br />Electric Company, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.McBride, <br /> Thomas F. Lateen, Milford W. Dahl, <br /> Courtney R. Chandler. <br /> Noes, Councilmen None <br /> Absent, Councilmen None <br />. <br />It was moved by Councilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen and carried, <br />that B.J.Barletta, Maintenance Engineer of the Joint Outfall Sewer, <br />be authorized to sign an affidavit on behalf of the City of Santa Ana <br />to state that all propane delivered to the tanks at the Joint Outfall <br />Sewer Treatment Plan~ has been or will be used to fire the boiler and <br />that none has been used to move a vehicle on any public highway and <br />that all propane new on hand will be used in the same manner and the <br /> <br />tanks removed within thirty days. <br /># <br />On recommendation of ~he committee and on motion of Councilman Jerome, <br />seconded by Dahl and ~arried, the request of Miss Mary Snyder that <br />signs be installed prohibiting school cars pa~king on Walnut Street <br />between Van Ness and Pa~ton and on South Van Ness Street between First <br /> <br />and Walnut was denied. <br /># <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Dahl, <br />seconded by Lateen and carried, the request of Donald R. Warren Co., <br />on behalf of United States Rubber Co., for a 40-foot driveway for the <br />main entrance on Dyer Road, was g~anted subject to the installation of <br /> <br />a concrete approach. <br /># <br />At the request of the Ac~ing Chief of Police and on motion of Council- <br />man Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, action was continued until <br />next meeting on the request of the Lincoln School P.T.A. that a stop <br />sign be installed at 15th and French Streets. <br /> <br />On mo~ion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Lateen and carried, the <br />Clerk was authorized to retain assistance, on a reasonable basis, on <br />the checking of the assessed value of each parcel of land and ~he <br />property owner's names and addresses, in the district bounded on ~he <br />south by Fourth Street, on the east by Spurgeon Street, on the north <br />by Seventh Street and on the west by Main Street, for the formation <br /> <br />of a vehicle parking district. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Lateen, <br /> <br />Council adJourned. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Mayor of~he-Uity of Santa Ana <br /> <br />seconded by Dahl and carried, the City <br /> ~ierk of the Council <br /> <br /> <br />
