duly held by this City Council at which all written appeals, protests
<br />or objections were duly presented and read, and all persons desiring
<br />to be heard thereon were heard, and this City Council gave all persons
<br />present an opportunity to be heard in respect of any matter relating
<br />to said work or improvement, to any act or determination of the
<br />Director of Public Works of said City in relation thereto, to the
<br />contract for said work or the performance of said contract, to the
<br />correctness of said assessment or said diagram, or to any other act,
<br />determination or proceedings of said Director of Public Works, or to
<br />any matter relating to said work, the assessment district or the pro-
<br />ceedings therefor; and
<br />WHEREAS, all such persons desiring to be heard have been heard by this
<br />City Council, and this City Council is fully informed in the premises;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, California,
<br />DOES HEREBY FIND, RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
<br />Section 1. That said hearing has been duly held; that each and every
<br />step in the proceeding prior to and including the hearing has been
<br />duly and regularly taken; that this City Council is satisfied with the
<br />correctness of the assessment, the diagram, the proceedings and all
<br />matters relating thereto, and all protests, objections, or appeals be
<br />and the same are hereby overruled and denied, and this City Council
<br />does hereby confirm said proceedings and said assessment.
<br />Section 2. That this resolution shall be entered upon the minutes of
<br />this City Council.

<br />motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the Attorney

<br />was instructed to prepare an Ordinance to establish set-back lines.

<br />This being the date set for hearing and no protests were received on the
<br />Amendment Application of Lois Michaels for the reclassification of an
<br />area approximately 2.65 acres in size, located on the south side of
<br />17th Street between Fairmont and Lincoln Streets, described as the
<br />east 15 feet of Block 16 and all of Block 21 of the Town of Santa Ana
<br />East, from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the O=2 District. Robert L.
<br />Corfman, Attorney for the applicant stated the reasons why the property
<br />is not desirable for duplexes or residences and requested that the '
<br />amendment be granted. On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by
<br />Larsen and carried, the Attorney was instructed to prepare an Ordinance
<br />to reclassify the property from the R-1 and R-2 District to the C-2
<br />District.
