Attorney Tom Heffernan, represent- ing the owners of property to the west of Bristol Street stated the owners were ready ~o subdivide the property for homes if the proposed area is zoned for industry and that homes have skirted industries all over Southern California. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 54-12 amending Section 3 of Resolution No. 5114 entitled tResolution establish- ing a basic compensation plan for certain classes of employment in the municipal service of the City of Santa Aha, and establishing regulations for the placement of present employees within the wage and salary schedules provided'" was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Thomas F. It was moved by Councilman McBride, seconded by Larsen and carried, that the Mana~er request a written opinion from the Director of Public Works as go the advisability of the City of Santa Ana accepting from the County Sanitation District, the existing 20" or less concrete sewer line and right of way on Center Street in Santa Ana Acres and the northerly extension thereof to Myrtle Stress and the southerly extension thereof to Edinger Street and westerly on Edinger Street to Fairview Avenue.
