<br /> On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Lateen and carried, the
<br /> Purchasing Agent was authorized to sell as scrap one shallow well pump
<br /> head and accompanying parts as having no value for the purpose for
<br /> which, o~'iginally designed.

<br /> It was moved by Councilman Dahl, seconded by Lateen and carried, that
<br /> escrow instructions be approved for purchaser property of Minnie M.
<br /> Wild, at 636 North Ross Street, for Civic Cent~.~r Site; the Mayor was
<br /> authorized to execute the s~me and the Director of Finance authorized
<br />
<br /> to draw a warrant in the sum of $8,750.00, depositing same in escrow.

<br /> On motion of Councilman McBride, seconded by Jerome and carried, the
<br /> communication from the Santa Aha Boa~,d of Realtors, requesting
<br /> that final action be deferred on the Subdivision Ordinance in order
<br /> that it may be given further study, was received and filed.
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Dahl, seconded by McBride and carried,
<br /> the Clerk answer the Realtor's letter advising that the request be
<br /> rejected on the basis that it has been more than twc months since the
<br /> Subdivision Ordinance was given first reading and action delayed durin
<br /> that period of time for the purpose of consideration by the various
<br /> groups, .and the changes recommended makos it urgently necessary to
<br />
<br /> adopt the Ordinance.

<br /> On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Jerome,
<br /> seconded by Lateen and carried, the bid of the United States. Pipe and
<br /> Foundry Company, at a total per foot price of $1.6668, was accepted
<br /> for the furnishing of 20,000 fe~t, 6 inch, Cast Iron Pipe, and all
<br />
<br /> other bids rejected.

<br /> At the request, of the committee and on motion of Councilman Jerome,
<br /> seconded by Lateen and carried, the bids for the re-paving of Third
<br /> Street from Ross to Spurgeon Streets, were held over until the next
<br />
<br />· meeting.
<br />
<br /> On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Larsen,
<br /> seconded by McBride and carried, the bid of A.M.Donaher and Son, in
<br /> the sum of $8,120.00 wa~ accepted for the furnishing of one street
<br />
<br /> sweeper, and all other bids rejected.

<br /> On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Larsen,
<br />
<br /> seconded by Jerome and carried, the bid of the Econolite Corporation,
<br /> plus taxes,
<br /> in the sum of $1,333.20~/was accepted for the furnishing of thirty
<br />
<br /> mercury vapor lamps and thirty ballasts for same, and all other bids
<br /> reJected.
