RESOLUTION 69-152 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR THE WIDENING
<br />OF FIRST STREET FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING
<br />A CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HARLEY H. HOWELL and GRACE F. HOWELL, husband and
<br />wife, have executed a deed dated September 17, 1969, conveying to
<br />the city of Santa Ana real property located on the south side of
<br />First Street and the east side of Baker Street, to be used for
<br />street purposes, for which the city is paying a cash consideration
<br />of $440.00. The transaction is to be handled through escrow
<br />numbered 56672-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa
<br />Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, NELSON HOLMWOOD and EDNA L. HOLMWOOD, husband and
<br />wife, have executed a deed dated September 12, 1969, conveying to
<br />the City of Santa Ana real property located on the south side of
<br />First Street and the west side of Booth Street, to be used for
<br />street purposes, for which the City is paying a cash consideration
<br />of $375.00. The transaction is to be handled through escrow
<br />numbered 56676-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
<br />california; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MILDRED A. SUHR, a married woman, and WILLIAM
<br />THOMAS MERRILL, a married man, have executed a deed dated
<br />September 16, 1969, conveying to the city of Santa Ana real
<br />property located on the south side of First Street and the west
<br />side of Van Ness Avenue, to be used for street purposes, for which
<br />the City is paying a cash consideration of $300.00. The trans-
<br />action is to be handled through escrow numbered 56644-C with
<br />Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HEMAN W. STANDARD and DOROTHY STANDARD, husband
<br />and wife, have executed a deed dated August 29, 1969, conveying
<br />to the City of Santa Ana real property located on ~e south side
<br />of First Street and the west side of Birch Street, to be used for
<br />street purposes, for which the City is paying a cash consideration
<br />of $585.00. The transaction is to be handled through escrow
<br />numbered 56646-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, GUADALUPE PALACIO and RAQUEL PALACI0, husband and
<br />wife, have executed a deed dated September 2, 1969, conveying to
<br />the City of Santa Ana real property located on the north side of
<br />First Street, east of olive Street, the south 40 feet thereof to
<br />be used for street purposes, for which the City is paying a cash
<br />consideration of $7,900.00. The transaction is to be handled
<br />through escrow numbered 56650-C with Security Title Insurance
<br />Company, Santa Ana, california; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ARTHUR W. VOLLRATH and IRENE D. VOLLRATH, husband
<br />and wife, have executed a deed dated September 26, 1969, conveying
<br />to the city of Santa Ana real property on the north side of First
<br />Street and the east side of Olive Street, the south 40 feet and a
<br />spandrel shaped parcel described as:

<br />A spandrel shaped parcel of land bounded southerly by
<br />the North line of said Southerly 40.00 feet, bounded
<br />Westerly by the West line of said Lot 6 and bounded
<br />Northeasterly by the arc of a curve concave Northeast-
<br />erly having a radius of 25.00 feet and being tangent
<br />to said Southerly and Westerly boundaries;
<br />to be used for street purposes, for which the City is paying a
<br />cash consideration of $11,200.00. The transaction is to be
<br />handled through escrow numbered 56712-C with Security Title
<br />Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
