<br />The Mayor stated that O. A. Smith, President of the Pacific Electric
<br />
<br />Railway Company and Assistant to the President of the Southern Pacific
<br />
<br />Railroad Company, informed him that the application to the Public
<br />
<br />Utilities CommissiQn for the removal of the tracks on Fourth Street has
<br />
<br />been passed by the Board of Directors of the Pacific Electric Railway
<br />Company and the Southern Pacific Railroad Company.
