Larsen, Courtney R. Chandler. <br />Milford W. Dahi <br /> <br />Each member of the Council having received copies of the Minutes <br />of August 2nd, 1954, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with <br />and approved on motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen <br />and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br />Hearing <br />Reclassify property <br />approx. S.E. corner <br />Flower & Delhi Road <br />Antone Borchard <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on the amendment application of <br /> <br />Antone Borckard, no protests were received for the reclassification of <br /> <br /> si6uated approximately at the southeast corner of Flower StreetI <br />property <br /> <br />and Delhi Road, containing about 96 acres, from the R-1 to the M-1 I <br /> souther~I <br />District, and that a building setback line be established at 100~/from <br /> <br />the center line of Delhi Road. On motion of Councilman Jerome, <br /> <br />seconded by Larsen and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code creating changes in district <br />boundaries and amending Sheet No. 48 of the <br />Districting Map to show the reclassification" <br /> <br />In Re <br />Hearing <br />"Babylon Annexation" <br />Ordinance Declaring <br />Annexation <br /> <br />was introduced, .considered and placed .on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing protests on annexation to the City <br />of certain uninhabited territory designated "Babylon Annexation". and no <br /> <br />protests being received; on motion of Councilman McBride, seconded by <br /> <br />Jerome and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance declaring the annexation of that <br />certain territory designated I'Baby~on AnnexationI'" <br /> <br />In Re <br />Variance <br />Maria R. Hernandez <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the' Planning Commission recommending denial <br /> <br />of variance application of Maria R. Hernandez to permi~ the addition of <br />a toilet r~om and kitchen to existing building on property at 1506 West <br /> <br />Seventh Street.
