<br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Dahl,
<br />seconded by Jerome And carried, the reGuest of Edward R. Leonard,
<br />General Contractor, for 35~ driveways at service station being con-
<br />structed at 2101 South Main Street, was granted.

<br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Larsen,
<br />seconded by Dahl and 6arried, the request of Dr. G. Stanley Norton
<br />that stop signs be installed on North Flower Street at Santa Clara
<br />Avenue, wa~ denied.

<br />The Attorney stated that the Electrical Code has been completely
<br />re-written and on motion of Councilman Dah], seconded by Larsen and
<br />carried, the Attorney was authorized to arrange a comprahensive Elec~
<br />trica~ Code to be adopted by reference in the manner provided by the
<br />
<br />City Charter.

<br />Communication' was read from the Chief ~ailding Inspector recommending
<br />that Robert N. Finfrock, Electrical Inspector, be permitted to attend
<br />the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, at Elks, Nevad~
<br />September 13th to 15th, inclusive. Zt was moved by Councilman Larsen
<br />and seconded by' D~hl, that the request be denied.
