Prepares proclamations, emergency ordinances and/or <br />other necessary legal documents that would be required <br />in disaster. <br /> <br />Advises City Council, Director and Service Chiefs on <br />legality and/or legal implications of contemplated <br />emergency actions. <br /> <br />Se <br /> <br />CITY CLERK <br /> <br />a. Serves as office of record in all official matters. <br /> <br />b. Prepares and publishes, after action reports, of all <br /> incidents. <br /> <br />c. Insures that City records and documents designated as <br /> essential to the functioning and continuity of govern- <br /> ment are preserved, maintained and stored in or moved <br /> to protected locations. <br /> <br />9. PARKS AND RECREATION (WELFARE) <br /> <br />Coordinates with Orange County Welfare Department, <br />Red Cross, and Salvation A~my for congregate care <br />services i.e. food, clothing, shelter, rehabilitation <br />to families affected by disaster. <br /> <br />b. Establish and assist in operation of mass care centers. <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />Assists Librarian in providing central registration, <br />inquiry and welfare information service in order to <br />expedite the reuniting of families. <br /> <br />10. LIBRARY DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />Coordinates with Red Cross and activates civilian <br />registry and locator service and assists in reuniting <br />families. <br /> <br />11. EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE - EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION SERVICE <br /> <br />Augments resources which have been placed under contract <br />control by the Director to private owner-operators, <br />Federal and State agencies and private industry to fill <br />initial requirements. <br /> <br />-9- <br /> <br />/? <br /> <br /> <br />
