Ail supervisory personnel may delegate their authority under <br />this plan but they may not delegate their responsiblities. <br /> <br />For organization of Specific departments and emergency services <br />see Annex A, <br /> <br />VI. MISSION ASSIGNMENTS <br /> <br />Ail normal City department missions remain in effect and are <br />not changed by this plan. Additional missions under emergency <br />conditions are assigned as follows: <br /> <br />1. ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />City Manager <br /> <br /> (1) Supervises over all operations with assistance <br /> from responsible personnel. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Maintains lateral communications and coordina- <br />tion with adjacent jurisdictions and vertical <br />communications and coordination with Orange <br />County Operational Area, State and Federal <br />Agencies as required by the situation. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager <br /> <br /> (1) Is the Deputy Director of Disaster Services <br /> and as such assists the Director in every way <br /> possible. <br /> <br /> (2) In the absence of the Director acts as the <br /> Director in fact. <br /> <br /> (3) Works closely with the City Attorney and <br /> Resources Management Director. <br /> <br /> (4) Insures closure of banks and retail liquor <br /> outlets in accordance with Governor's orders <br /> 6 through 11, Part 3, California Civil Defense <br /> and Disaster Plan. <br /> <br />Public Information Officer (Administrative Assistant <br />to City Manager) <br /> <br /> (1) Public Information - Coordinates the release and <br /> dissemination of emergency information and <br /> instructions through news media to the public. <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br />/7 <br /> <br /> <br />
