Conducts rescue operations as appropriate. <br /> <br />3. POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />a. Protects lives and property and maintains law and order. <br />b. Radiological monitoring. <br />c. Controls access to disaster sites and danger areas. <br />d. Explosive ordnance reconnaissance and control. <br />e. Performs such traffic control as appropriate. <br />f. Evacuee control. <br />g. Conducts rescue operations as appropriate. <br /> <br />h. Detection and prevention of sabotage and other subversive <br /> activities. <br /> <br />i. Locates and takes custody of downed aircraft and enemy <br /> crews. <br /> <br />4. PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> a. Reallocates personnel as required. <br /> <br />b. Registers volunteer emergency workers. <br /> <br /> c. Recruits, registers, classifies and places personnel <br /> to augment emergency services and to meet essential <br /> manpower requirements. <br /> <br /> d.
