RESOLUTION 70-81 AMENDING RESOLUTION <br />68-142 PERTAINING TO REFUSE COLLECTION <br />RULES AND REGUI~TIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by virtue of Ordinance NS-823 the City Council <br />is authorized to regulate refuse collection and to establish <br />charges for the collection and disposal of refuse by resolution; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution 68-142, the City Council exercised <br />such authority; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council now to amend <br />such regulations and rates by this resolution to supplant Resolution <br />68-142; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana does hereby amend Resolution 68-142 in the <br />following particulars: <br /> <br /> 1. That paragraph 5 of said Resolution 68-142 be amended <br />to delete the phrase "except those which are located in the map <br />area as defined in and regulated by paragraph 6 next hereinbelow <br />set out." <br /> <br />2.
