Main St. <br />from McFadden to Bishop <br /> <br />In Re <br />Petition <br />(crossing guard) <br />Edinger & Flower <br /> <br />On me,ion of Councilman McBride, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br />plans and specifications for the widening of South Main Street from <br /> <br />McFadden to Bishop Streets were approved~. <br /># <br /> <br />A petition was read signed by twenty-four residents in the vicinity of <br />the Glenn Martin School requesting a crossing guard at the intersection <br />of Edinger and Flower S~eet~. On recommendation of the eommlt~ee <br /> <br />and on motion of Councilman Larsen~ seconded by Jerome and carried, a <br /> <br />In Re <br />Appropriate funds <br />for guests from <br />Hamm, Germany <br /> <br />crossing guard was ordered employed at this intersection. <br />. <br />The Manager requested au~hOri~mation for establishment of a limited <br />fund to be used, if necessary, for the transportation, entertainmen~, <br />etc., of nine p'ersons from The International Educational Exchange Team~ <br />Hamm, Germany, who will be guests of the City from October 26th through <br />November llth, 195~, for the purpose of studying community problems. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Dahl, seconded by Lateen and ca~ied, tha~ <br />a reasonable sum be made available, not to exceed $250.00, for this <br /> <br />In Re <br />Resol. No. 5~-168 <br />Es~ablish red zones <br />W. side N.Broadway <br />from let to 4th <br /> <br />purpose. <br /># <br />The Council having unanlmously waived the reading of the Resolution, <br />on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Lateen and carried, the <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 54-168 concerning parking limitations <br />and curb markings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />establishing red zones on the west side of North Broadway from Fires <br /> <br />to Fourth Streets, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />In Re <br />Back-log of <br />unfinished <br />business <br /> <br />Ayes,.
