Chrlsteson, reference construction of laterals <br /> and other facilities to be used in the disposal of sewage from prop- <br /> erty in Tract No. 2089 and permitting the City to collect from any <br /> person connecting into said sewerage facilities for a period of ten <br /> years. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen and carried, Agree~ <br />ment dated November 16th, 195~, between the City and State Personnel <br />Board to render any desired services in connection with personnel <br /> <br />work, was approved and proper official authorized, to execute agreemen$. <br />. <br />Communication was read from the Pacific Electric Railway Company <br />advising that Lease 9818 covering a private road crossing over the <br />Pacific Electric~s Newport Beach right-of-way, for Joint Outfall Sewer <br />purposes, is in the process of being terminated with an effective date <br />of September 1st, 1952, and requesting that the City execute Termi- <br />nation Agreement of Lease 9818. On motion of Councilman Jerome, <br />seconded by Larsen and carried, the matter was referred to the <br /> <br />Attorney for recommendation. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the ~ <br />eleven petitions submitted by the Chamber of Commerce Parking Committee, <br />signed by owners of properties in the proposed Parking District No. 2,! <br />proposing the formation of a vehicle parking district, being Lots 7, <br /> <br />8, 9 and l0 in Block 13 of the "Town of Santa Ana", located on the <br />south side of West Fifth Street between Broadway and Sycamore Street, <br />were received, filed and referred to the Clerk to determine that the <br />percentage of signers is not less than 20% of the total assessed <br />value of all land in the district and to report at the next meeting. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, that <br />the amount of $80,000.00 be approved as the City's portion of the <br />costs and expenses of the acquisition and improvement of Parking <br />District No. 2, as specified in the petition. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, that <br />the Chamber of Commerce be notified by letter that the City's contri- <br />bution for vehicle parking lots in the two remaining quadrants be <br /> <br />limited to $70,000.00 in each of said quadrants. <br />, <br />A petition was presented signed by five property owners on Bonnie <br />Brae reference a correction on the new maps to show the street as <br />Bonnie Brae southerly from North Park Boulevard, instead of Greenleaf <br />Street. On motion of Councilman Larsen, seconded by Jerome and <br />carried, the matter was referred to the Planning Commission for <br /> <br />recommendation. <br /> <br /> <br />
