RESOLUTION 72-12 ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF GRAND A~ENUE NORTH OF MC FADDEN AVENUE WHEREAS, on recon%mendation of the Department of Public Works and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, Resolution 72-3 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate that portion of Grand Avenue north of McFadden Avenue; WHEREAS, on February 7, 1972, a public hearing was duly held on said vacation of street on posted notices and the publication of said Resolution 72~3; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that above mentioned street is no longer necessary for present or prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order to vacate said right of way. Said right of way lies in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: That portion of Section 17, Township 5 South, Range 9 West in the land allotted to N.O. Stafford and C. Tustin, in the City of Santa Ana, as described in the Final Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, which was entered September 12, 1868 in Book "B", Page 410 of Judgments of the District Court of the 17th Judicial District in and for Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Ail that portion of said Section 17 bounded Easterly by the East line of Grand Avenue, formerly McClay Street, as described in deed recorded March 29, 1890, in Book 7, Page 206 of Deeds, records of said Los Angeles County and bounded Westerly by the following described line; Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Grand Avenue and McFadden Avenue as said intersection is shown on a map filed in Book 30, Page 28 of Parcel Maps; thence along said center line of McFadden Avenue North 88° 39' 00" East 52.22 feet; thence North i° 21' 00" West 42.00 feet to a point on a non-tangent curve concave North- easterly and having a radius of 25.00 feet, a radial to said point bears South 1° 21' 00" East and to the true point of beginning; thence along said curve Northwesterly 39.95 feet through a central angle of 91° 33' 55"; thence tangent to said curve North 0° 12' 55" East 131.03 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Easterly and having a radius of 950.00 feet; thence along said curve Northerly 87.02 feet through a central angle of 5° 14' 54"; thence tangent to said curve North 5~ 27' 49" East 217.35 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Westerly and having a radius of 1050.00 feet; thence along said curve Northerly 102.06 feet through a central angle of 5° 34' 09" to a point of tangency with a line parallel with and Easterly 57.00 feet from said center line of Grand Avenue; thence along said parallel line North O° 06' 20" West 492.20 feet.
