3O3 ~n Re Reque st Lyle B. Hunter et al (limited parking zone) On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Counci!msn Dahi, seconded by Larsen and carried, the request of Lyle B. Hunter et al that a fifteen-minute parking space be established at Cubbon and Main In Re Request Geo. E. Faires (two-hour parking signs,etc.) Streets, was denied. On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Larsen, seconded by Dahl and carried, the request of Geo. E. Faires for two- hour parking signs on both sides of NOrth Main Street from Washington Avenue to 17th Street was denied but request granted for painting the curb red back from the driveway entrance at 1319 North Main Street, to In Re ReGue~t P. Prlzio (garage approaches) prohibit parking. On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Larsen, seconded by Jerome and carried, the request of P. Prizio for permission to cut the curb from the usual 25~ to 4h.' for garage approaches on the Oak Street side of an apartment to be located at $24 E. Pine In Re Petition Alfred C.Bonney et al Establish restricted parking on Washington and portion of Sycamore St. Street, was granted. The Manager recommended that no action be taken on petition signed by fourteen business persons and firms on Washington Avenue requesting the establishment of a restricted parking zone in place of the pro- hibited parking zone and that a two-hour parking zone be established o'n Washington Avenue and a portion of Sycamore Street, and on motion of Councilman Larsen, seconded by Dahl and carried, the petition was In Re Resol. No. 55-109 Establish two-hour parking on both sides N. Broadway from 10th to 17th Sis. received and filed. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman McBride, seconded by Dahl and carried, the following Resolution entitled.' "Resolution No. 55-109 concerning limited or no parking signs" establishing two hou~ parking on both sides of North Broadway between 10th and 17th Streets, was considered and passed by the following vote: In Re Instructions to Attorney to prepare Ordinance providing for parking meters on Broadway from 8th to 10th Sts. Ayes, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Thomas F.Larsen, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler Noes', Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen None On recommendation of the Manager and on motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen and ca~ried, the Attorney wac instructed to prepare the necessary Ordinance or Resolution providing for the installation of parking meters on both sides of North Broadway from 8th to 10th Streets, omitting the time limit regulation. # On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by McBride and carried, C ~ i~y Council adjourned to Wednesday, in the Council Chamber.
