RESOLUTION NO. 72- 30 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNATED <br />AGENT TO EXECUTE THE CITY'S ACCEPTANCE OF WP~ITTEN <br />BIDS AFTER AWARD BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Santa Ana Charter requires that certain <br />formalities be followed, and that generally speaking <br />contracts involving an expenditure of more than $2,000 <br />(Two thousand dollars) require written bids, and Council- <br />matic acceptance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City staff has developed a system to <br />expedite the purchase of required materials, and yet at <br />the same time follow the formal requirements of the Santa <br />Ana Charter and Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager <br />or his designated agent is authorized to sign all such <br />written bids after they have been accepted by the City <br />Council in the manner required by the City's Charter. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Aha at its adjourned regular meeting held on the l~th <br />day of March , 1972. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
