KLG:NR <br />3-8-79 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-11 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA RATIFYING THE EXECUTION~ BY THE <br />CITY MANAGER, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, OF CERTAIN <br />CONTRACTS FOR MATERIALS, SUPPLIES, LABOR, <br />EQUIPMENT, AND OTHER VALUABLE CONSIDERATIONS, <br />AND FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> Each and every contract heretofore executed by the <br />City Manager on behalf of the city, pursuant to the <br />provisions of Section 421 of the Charter of the City of <br />Santa Ana, without advertising and without previous approval <br />by the City Council of each specific item for the payment of <br />charges for materials, supplies, labor, equipment, other <br />valuable consideration furnished to the city, or for Public <br />Works as defined in Charter Section 421, in amounts not <br />exceeding the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) each, <br />without a contract let to the lowest responsible bidder <br />after notice, in any one contract, is hereby ratified and <br />approved, and such ratification and approval shall, <br />furthermore, extend to each and every such contract so <br />executed prior to the effective date of Ordinance No. NS- <br />1477. <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 72-30 of this Council adopted on <br />March 13, 1972, is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 19th day of March , <br /> <br />1979. <br /> <br />AYES: COUNCILMEN: Brandt~ Bricken, Evans, Garthe, <br /> Ortiz, Ward~ Yamamoto <br />NOES: COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br /> ABSENT: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUI~I~IL// <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />KEITH L.
