<br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA
<br />ANA AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION OF REAL
<br />PROPERTY FOR SURFACE DRAINAGE EASEMENTS--
<br />SANTA FE LAND IMPROVEMENT CO.
<br />
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of
<br />Santa Ana does hereby find and declare that the public in-
<br />terest and necessity require that in order to maintain and
<br />upgrade its surface drainage system, the hereinbelow des-
<br />cribed easements be condemned.
<br />
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That work is to begin imme-
<br />diately, and it is necessary for the City of Santa Ana to
<br />have possession of the following easements as soon as pos-
<br />sible:
<br />
<br />PARCEL 1:
<br />
<br />An easement for drainage purposes over the Southerly 327.91
<br />feet of the Westerly 15.00 feet of that portion of a rec-
<br />tangular shaped parcel of land in the County of Orange,
<br />State of California, being all that portion of Parcel 1
<br />and Parcel 2 as described in deed from Harry Tancredi and
<br />May Trancredi to Roscoe R. Cook and Cuba E. Cook, dated
<br />April 20, 1961, and recorded April 27, 1961, in Book 5704,
<br />Page 465, Official Records of said County, in Section 20,
<br />Township 5 South, Range 9 West, Rancho Santiago de Santa
<br />Ana, in the land allotted to F. W. Koll in Decree of Par-
<br />tition of said Rancho, recorded in Book "B" of Judgments
<br />of the 17th Judicial District Court, Los Angeles County,
<br />California, described as follows:

<br />Beginning at the Northeast corner of the land conveyed to
<br />S. E. Hiskey by deed recorded in Book 178, Page 147, of deeds,
<br />records of Los Angeles County, said Northeast corner being
<br />also the Northwesterly corner of that certain 13.388 acre
<br />parcel of land as shown on Record of Survey map filed in
<br />Book 6, Page 47, of Records of Surveys, Orange County Re-
<br />cords; thence North 88° 53' 45" East (bearings based on
<br />Northerly line of said Record of Survey map filed in Book
<br />6, Page 47, of Records of Surveys) along the Northerly line
<br />of said Parcel 1, described in deed recorded in Book 5704,
<br />Page 465, Official Records, being also the Northerly line of
<br />said 13.388 acre parcel, 577.83 feet; thence South 0° 02'35"
<br />East 504.81 feet to a point in the Southerly line of said
<br />Parcel 2, described in deed recorded in Book 5704, Page 465,
<br />Official Records, said Southerly line being also the Southerly
<br />line of said 13.388 acre parcel, last said point being distant
<br />North 89° 43" 10" East along last said Southerly line 577.83
<br />feet from the Westerly line of said Parcel 2; thence South
<br />89° 43' 10" West along last said Southerly line 577.83 feet
<br />to the Southwesterly corner of said Parcel 2, said South-
<br />westerly corner being also the Southwesterly corner of said
<br />13.388 acre parcel; thence North 00~ 01' 55" West along the
<br />Westerly lines of said Parcel 2 and Parcel 1, said Westerly
<br />line being also the Westerly line of said 13.388 acre parcel,
<br />496.50 feet to the point of beginning.

<br />PARCEL 2:
<br />
<br />An easement for drainage purposes over the Northerly 10.00
<br />feet of the Westerly 15.00 feet of that portion of the North
<br />half of Section 20, Township 5 South, Range 9 West, of the
<br />Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, lying within that portion of
<br />the land allotted to F. W. Koll as described in the Final
<br />Decree of Partition of said Rancho entered September 12,
