RESOLUTION 72-63 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA DENYING APPEAL NO. 301 FILED BY <br />WESTERN UNION REALTY COMPANY AND GRANTING <br />VARIANCE APPLICATION ~-18 FILED BY PRUDENTIAL <br />OVERALL SUPPLY .l~- <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED: That, based upon the Findings of Fact of the <br />Planning Commission and new testimony presented before the City <br />Council, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby reverses <br />its decision and denies Appeal No. 301 filed by Western Union <br />Realty Company and upholds the decision of the Planning Commission <br />granting VA 72-18 filed by Prudential Overall Supply to operate <br />an automobile repair garage and impound yard in the M1 and M2 <br />Districts, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That all conditions of the Building and Fire Departments <br /> be met. <br /> <br />That a landscape plan be submitted to and approved by the <br />Planning Department, including the provisions of Sec. 41- <br />618 of the Zoning Ordinance, and that said landscaping be <br />implemented and be continuously maintained. <br /> <br />3. That any trash areas be enclosed in accordance with the <br /> Planning department standards. <br /> <br />Submit to the Department of Public Works, for their approval, <br />an acceptable final grading plan or an on-site drainage plan <br />or both, showing the direction and means of flow to the <br />adjacent street (s) or channel(s) when this property is <br />developed. Plan is to include existing and proposed eleva- <br />tions at the property lines. Applicants should check with <br />the Department of Public Works for extent of study needs. <br /> <br />5. Dedicate required street or alley right of way. <br /> <br />6. Provide construction plans for: <br /> <br />a. required street improvement, <br />b. sewer system <br /> <br />7. Pay drainage assessment fee. <br /> <br />8. Pay City sanitary sewer main assessment fee. <br /> <br />9. Pay City water main charges <br /> <br />10. Pay water service connection charges. <br /> <br />11. Pay street lighting deposit for future street lights. <br /> <br />12. Construct necessary street improvements: <br /> <br /> a. paving, <br />b. curb and gutter <br /> <br />13. Install approved protective fencing along flood control <br /> channel. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />All plans and surveys for required public improvements shall <br />be prepared under the direction of a registered Civil <br />Engineer and shall be submitted to the Department of Public <br />Works for approval.. <br /> <br />15. Ail public improvement construction shall be subject to <br /> inspection and approval by the Department of Public Works. <br /> <br /> <br />
