B. UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE - 1970 EDITION <br /> <br />1. Section 8-329 accomplishes editorial correction. <br /> <br />2. Section 8-337 modifies provisions with respect to viola- <br />tions and penalties to be consistent with provisions in the <br />Santa Aha Municipal Code. <br /> <br />3. Sections 8-342, 8-354, 8-355, and 8-356 are administrative <br />amendments which provide for fees and refunds which are commen- <br />surate with the services provided by the Building Department <br />and designed to produce revenues for services performed. <br /> <br />4. Section 8-398 deletes a specification which is no longer <br />necessary under present standards. <br /> <br />5. Section 8-400 modifies the limitations with respect to <br />water piping in or under a concrete floor slab resting on the <br />ground. To clarify that there is no current approval of a non- <br />metallic water piping for this use and to preclude damage due <br />to the adverse affects of soil incompatibility with ferrous <br />piping. <br /> <br />6. Sections 8-401 and 8-402 are modified to provide a greater <br />capacity for water supply required in our "semiarid" region. <br /> <br />C. UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE - 1970 EDITION <br /> <br />1.
