RESOLUTION NO. 73-64 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AMENDING DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL <br />NO. 3 INCLUDED IN RESOLUTION 72-40 FOEMERLY <br />PASSED APRIL 17, 1972. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to provide for a more orderly flow <br />of traffic on First Street in the City of Santa Ana, it has <br />become necessary to widen and improve said street fro~ <br />Townsend to Hesperian Street. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Ana does hereby amend its Resolution <br />72-40 passed April 17, 1972 as to Parcel No. 3 only and does <br />hereby find and declare that the public interest and neces- <br />sity require that First Street be widened and improved from <br />Townsend to Hesperian Street to provide for a more orderly <br />flow of east-west traffic, and further require that said <br />City do have, take and acquire for street purposes that cer- <br />tain real property in the City of Santa And, County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as follows: <br /> <br />PARCEL 3A: <br /> <br />The Southerly 40 feet of Lots 10 to 16 inclusive, <br />in Block 12 of the Pacific Electric Subdivision <br />of the Ross Tract, in the City of Santa And, as <br />per map recorded in Book 4, Page 14, Miscella- <br />neous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder <br />of said Orange County. <br /> <br />PARCEL 3B: <br /> <br />A spandrel shaped parcel of land described as fol- <br />fows: Beginning at the intersection of the East <br />line of said Lot 16 with a line paralleI with and <br />distant 70.00 feet Northerly, measured at right <br />angles, from the center line of First Street as <br />shown on said Subdivision; thence Northerly along <br />said East line a distance of 24.91 feet to the <br />beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly <br />having a radius of 25.00 feet~ tbence ~thwesterly <br />along the arc of said curve throug~ a central ~ngle <br />of 89° 47' 33" an arc distance of 3~.18 feet to a <br />tangent line, being said line parallel t~at ~s dls~ <br />tant 70.0~ feet Northerly hereinabove descr~ed~ <br />thence Easterly along said tangent l~ne a d~stance <br />of 24.91 feet to the point of 5eginn~ng~ <br /> <br />Together with the right and eaS~ment te enter upon <br />the remaining port~on of said lands of <br />for the purpose of severing and ~emovah~g-,~tbe por~ <br />tion of any building on Parcels 3~ <br />partly with/n and partly without the abmvedescr~be~ <br />parcels of land and for the purpose/of cons~rruct~ng <br />and maintaining any shoring, ~raceS~ C~uh~at~ons <br />or walls necessary to support t~erem~n~nghnprove~ <br />ments on said remaining portion of ~i~ lan~ after <br />severing and removing tkerefro~sa~d portion <br />building and for constr~ct~ng~m~lockWall .along <br />the southerly property l~ne of the ~l~l~ng~en the <br />remainder at any ti~e' withl~n 9~ days~ a~ter t~e date <br />possession is authorized as ~nd£cate~ kn the order <br />for possession, or w~t53~n ~0 <br />Judgment in Cendem~at~on, for the a[i~e 'enumerated <br />purposes. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
