Bk 11004 Pg 260 RESOLUTION NO. 73-87 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF PARTON STREET BETWEEN WALNUT STREET AND PINE STREET WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana adopted Resolution No. 73-75, giving notice of intention to vacate a portion of Parton Street, between Walnut Street and Pine Street; and WHEREAS, Resolution 73-75 was published, and notice of intention was posted as required by law; and WHEP~EAS, on August 6, 1973, a public hearing was duly held on said vacation; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that the portion of the above named street is no longer necessary for present or prospective purposes, and does hereby make these orders to vacate said right of way. Said right of way lies in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: That portion of the Northeast quarter of Section 13, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M. described as follows: That certain portion of Parton Street as described in a deed to the City of Santa Ana recorded in Book 416, Page 65 of Deeds, records of Orange County, California bounded Northerly by a line parallel with and distant 40.00 feet Southerly, measured at right angles, from the center line of Walnut Street as shown on a map of McFadden and Cranes Addition to the town of Santa Ana recorded in Book 11, Page 40, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, and bounded Southerly by the Easterly prolongation of the North line of Pine Street as shown on a map of Tract 101 recorded in Book 11, Page 1 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County. Reserving for public utilities a 31 foot strip of land, the Westerly line of which is described as follows: Beginning at a point on said Southerly boundary distant 16.583 feet Westerly from the center line of said Parton Street; thence Northerly along a line parallel with and distant 16.583 feet Westerly, measured at right angles, from said center line a distance of 300.00 feet, more or less, to said Northerly boundary.
