M. <br />Bk 11004 Pg 260 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73-87 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDERING THE VACATION <br />OF A PORTION OF PARTON STREET BETWEEN <br />WALNUT STREET AND PINE STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public <br />Works and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, <br />the City Council of the City of Santa Ana adopted Resolution <br />No. 73-75, giving notice of intention to vacate a portion of <br />Parton Street, between Walnut Street and Pine Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 73-75 was published, and notice of <br />intention was posted as required by law; and <br /> <br /> WHEP~EAS, on August 6, 1973, a public hearing was duly <br />held on said vacation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that the portion of the <br />above named street is no longer necessary for present or <br />prospective purposes, and does hereby make these orders to <br />vacate said right of way. Said right of way lies in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />That portion of the Northeast quarter of Section <br />13, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M. <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />That certain portion of Parton Street as described in <br />a deed to the City of Santa Ana recorded in Book 416, <br />Page 65 of Deeds, records of Orange County, California <br />bounded Northerly by a line parallel with and distant <br />40.00 feet Southerly, measured at right angles, from <br />the center line of Walnut Street as shown on a map of <br />McFadden and Cranes Addition to the town of Santa Ana <br />recorded in Book 11, Page 40, Miscellaneous Records of <br />Los Angeles County, California, and bounded Southerly <br />by the Easterly prolongation of the North line of Pine <br />Street as shown on a map of Tract 101 recorded in Book <br />11, Page 1 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said <br />Orange County. <br /> <br />Reserving for public utilities a 31 foot strip of land, <br />the Westerly line of which is described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on said Southerly boundary distant <br />16.583 feet Westerly from the center line of said Parton <br />Street; thence Northerly along a line parallel with and <br />distant 16.583 feet Westerly, measured at right angles, <br />from said center line a distance of 300.00 feet, more <br />or less, to said Northerly boundary. <br /> <br /> <br />
