Resolution No. 73-109 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> 3. That all conditions and requirements of the State <br />Department of Social Welfare, the State Department of Mental <br />Hygiene, the Orange County Health Department, and all other <br />public agencies be complied with. <br /> <br /> 4. That this facility be limited to a maximum number <br />of 88 former mental patients or clients at any time; <br /> <br /> 5. All signs and sign structures and the two house <br />trailers be completely removed from the premises; <br /> <br /> 6. That the applicant secure a valid license to <br />operate a residential treatment center for the admission and <br />treatment of adults with mental illness from the State Department <br />of Social Welfare; <br /> <br /> 7. This variance shall terminate at the end of a 3 year <br />period, to determine whether or not any problems have arisen <br />due to this operation. The Planning Department shall thereafter <br />report to the Planning Commission, which may grant an additional <br />3 year extension of this variance under the same conditions or <br />under different conditions, without the necessity of filing an <br />additional application. Any additional 3 year extensions of this <br />variance, however, shall be subject to this same condition. <br /> <br />Fire Department <br /> <br />The buildings and its use shall conform to the regulations <br />of Title 19, California Administrative Code {Public Safety) <br />and the Uniform Fire Code. <br /> <br />The buildings, housing ambulatory guests, shall be provided <br />with an approved manual and automatic fire alarm system <br />actuated by detectors responding to invisible products <br />of combustion other than heat. <br /> <br />2A-IOBC rated dry chemical fire extinguishers shall be <br />provided in conspicuous and accessible locations within <br />100 feet of travel distance from any area of each building. <br /> <br />A water main system capable of delivering a total fire flow <br />of 2,000 gallons per minute from an approved hydrant, located <br />approximately 350 feet from the street curb, shall be provided. <br />It shall be installed to conform to City Improvement Standard <br />#403 and painted chrome yellow. This system shall be placed <br />in service prior to the commencing of any combustible con- <br />struction. <br /> <br />Four copies of the hydrant system plan, including calculations, <br />shall be submitted to us for approval. <br /> <br />E. Plans of the above 5 conditions shall be submitted to the Fire <br /> Department for approval prior to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE TO CEQA OF 1970 NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
