On motion of CouncilmA- seconded by Jerome and carried, the transfer of funds was approved. An oral report was given on the Manager's investigation of the protest of M~ry Sarans regarding the playing of the organ ch~-~$ and carillon bells of The Faith Evangelical United Brethren Church, ll05 West ~nird Street. On motion of Council- mA, Dehl, seconded by Heinly and carried, the report was accepted and Clerk in- structed to advise the protestant of the result of the investigation. At the request of the Manager and on motion of Counc~lm~ Dab1, seconded by Reinly and carried, permission w~s granted to sell the furniture and move the structure at the southwest corner of Bixth and Spurgeon Btreets, upon acquisition fr~a Paul M. ,,~lt for Vehicle F.a~king District No. 1. On ree~.-~ndation of the Manager and on ~otion of Oounc~lmA- D~h~, seconded by portion of Heinly and ca~ied, the sale of/Lot 9, Block G, South Santa Aha Tract No. 39, lying north and westerly of the new aligr~ent of the southerly extension of Or~-8~, Avenue in the sum of $100.00, was approved conditioned on all expenses of transfer bei~ paid by the burrer after m_~_~ing determination that said property could have rea~ yalue only to the .owner of Lot 10 aclJacent thereto. On motion of Councilman l~hl., seconded by Reinly and carried, the Attorney was authorized to institute eminent domain proceedings on the remaining parcels of property on Bristol Street bet~/een Fifth Street and Washington Avenue. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Reinly and carried, the Manager mas gran~ permission to leave the City from March 19th to March 21st, 19~6 inclusive. On motion of Councilm~- Reinly, seconded by Dahl and carried, the matter of estab- lishing & limited parking zone at the Arrow Glass and Mirror Company, 12B8 West First Street was referred to the curb usage c~mtttee for rec~-~ndation. On motion of CouncilmAn Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, the plans and spec- ifications were approved for the reconstruction and widening, including curbing,on the north side of Delhi Road east half-way between Park Drive and Towner Streets.
