!0 In Re Amena. 1955-56 Budge t The Manager requested that the 1955-56 Budget be amended by trausferring the sum of $750.00 from Fund 51-221 Capital Outlay Bowers Muse~ to Fund 53-221 Bowers Mmme~ Improvement Fund Capital Outlay, for the purpose of clearing the site north of the Bowers Museum. On motion of Councilm~ Dahl, seconded by JerOme and carried, the In Re Amend. 1955-56 Budge} transfer of funds was approved. The Manager requested that the 1955-56 Budget be e~m~nded by transferring the sum of $B600.00 from City Council Contingency R~serve 11-0OO to City Council 11-111 Which is t~e amount necessary to pay for the City's contribution of the Employees Group Life Insurance Plan. On motion of Councilman D. hl, seconded by Jerome and carried In~ Amend. 1955-56 Budget the transfer of funds was approved. The Manager requested that the 1955-56 Budget be amended by transferring the sum of $2200.00 from ~mnd 11-~ll to 11-159 Department of Public Safety and Housing, to pay for addition~l vehicle equipment in the Department of Building and Housing. On motion of Councilman D~bl, seconded by Neinly and carried, the transfer of funds In Re No, parking area W~side Olive St. btn 4th mud 5th Sts. was approved. On motion of Councilm,n Dab!, seconded by Heinly end carried, the curb usage committee was instructed to investigate and report on the establishment of a red zone on the west side of Olive Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets to prohibit In Re Length of red zone North side Cubbon east of Main St. In Re Request ~eesee Tank & Pump Co. (over-size da'iveways ) ~n Re ~Loading problem at ~mart and Final w. 5th St. In B~ Reso. No.56-113 Establish yellow zone Main St. btn 5th and 6th Sts. the parking of trucks and equipment by Bascom Rush. On motion of Councilma~ Neinly, seconded by D, hl and carried, the curb usage c~mm~ttee was instructed to investigate and report in regard to the length of the red zone now established on the north side of Cubbon Street east of Main Street. On recommendation of the curb usage co~m~ittee and on motion of Councilman Dab1, seconded by Jer~m~ and carried, the request of Xeesee T-nW and Pump Ccmpany was granted for two 35 foot driveways for service station at 2~05 South Main Street. The Manager read a report from the curb usage co~.,ittee in regard to the loa~llng problem at .~.~t and Final Company on West Fifth Street, and on motion of Counctlm Neinly, seconded by Dahl and carried, the report was received and filed. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Council.mn Jerome, seconded by Reinly and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 56-11~ concerning parking limitations and curb m~kl~gs in accordance therewith" establishing a yellow zone on the east side of Main Street between Fifth and Sixth Streets, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilm~ Dele E. Neinly, J. Ogden Markel, William Jerome, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R.
