<br />Councilman Jerome, seconded by Reinly and carried, the following Ordinance entitled:

<br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.

<br />On recommendation of the Business Men's Association, it was moved by Councilm~

<br />Jerome, and seconded by D-bl,/permission be granted to Sister Elizabeth Kenny
<br />
<br />Foundation to solicit funds during the month of May. Motion lost. A substitute
<br />
<br />motion, was.ma~e bY Councilmam SeinlY, seeonded by Markel and carried, that'the
<br />
<br />application Of the' SiSter EliZabeth Kenny Found~ti6n to solicit funds, be referred
<br />
<br />to the .Orange County CoUncil of Coammmity ~gencies for rec~mnendation.
<br />
<br />It was moved by Councilman Iteinly, seconded by Dahl and carried, that all appli-
<br />
<br />cations for solicitation of funds within the City be referred to the Orange County
<br />
<br />Council of Co~unity Agencies for their recommendation, Immediately upon receipt,
<br />
<br />along with referring such applications to the Business ~4en's Association.
<br />
<br />On recommendation of the Business Men's Association and on motion of Councilman
<br />
<br />Jerome, seconded by I~h~ and carried, the request of Airborne Club to solicit
<br />
<br />funds for the purpose of ~stablishing a Youth Program in Placentia, was denied.
