RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />74-36~ - <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION <br />OF REAL PROPERTY IN ORDER TO WIDEN SEVENTEENTH <br />STREET <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED: Tha~,~the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana does hereby find and declare that the public interest <br />and necessity require that in order to widen Seventeenth Street, <br />the hereinbelow described real property be condemned. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That work is to begin immediately, <br />and it is necessary for the City of Santa Ana to have possession <br />of the hereinbelow described property as soon as possible. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That such acquisition is done <br />a manner consistent with the greatest public good and the <br />least private injury. <br /> <br />in <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br />as Exhibit A and be used as <br />described property: <br /> <br /> That the attached map be entered <br />an illustration of the hereinbelow <br /> <br />Ail those portions of Section 1, Township 5 South, <br />Range 9 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />The Northerly 12.00 feet of the Southerly 52.00 <br />feet of the Westerly 146.00 feet of the Easterly <br />191.00 feet of said Section 1, along with a spandrel <br />shaped parcel of land that is bounded Easterly by a <br />line parallel with and distant 45.00 feet Easterly, <br />measured at right angles, from the East line of said <br />Section 1, bounded Southerly by the North line of <br />the Southerly 52.00 feet and bounded Northwesterly <br />by the arc of a curve concave Northwesterly having <br />a radius of 25.00 feet and being tangent to said <br />Easterly and Southerly boundaries. <br /> <br />Excepting therefrom those portions previously dedi- <br />cated for street purposes. <br /> <br />Together with the right and easement to enter upon <br />the remaining portion of said lands of the owner for <br />the purpose of severing and removing the portions of <br />any building on said parcel which lies partly within <br />and partly without the above described parcel of land <br />and for the purposes of constructing and maintaining <br />any shoring, braces, foundations or walls necessary <br />to support the remaining improvements on said remaining <br />portion of said lands after severing and removing there- <br />from said portion of building at any time within ~80 <br />days after the date possession is authorized as indicated <br />in the order for possession, or within 180 days after <br />Final Judgment in condemnation, for the above enumerated <br />purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />
