RESOLUTION NO. 74-110 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA FIXING THE SALARY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA THE CITY OF -- I OFTHE CITY CLERK OF WHEREAS, the City Council desires to maintain the salary of the Clerk of the Council within the range of currently pre- valent salaries for similar positions in cities of comparable size; and WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Council is of a caliber to war- rant payment equal to or above the pmevailing rate; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the salary for the position of Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, is hereby fixed and established at $1,850.00 per month and that said salary shall take effect and be paid from July l, 1974. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, in addition to the aforesaid salary, the Clerk of the Council shall receive the following benefits in like manner and amount as have been approved for all Department Heads: 1. Effective July l, 1974, a grcup life insurance policy in the amount of $10,000, with double indemnity. Effective July l, 1974, the City as employer, will contri- bute $12.00 per month toward the purchase of a dental in- surance plan for the Clerk of the Council and his (her) dependents. Said sum shall be the total cost paid by the City toward such coverage. In the event the premium cost shall exceed $12.00 per month, the additional cost shall be borne entirely by the Clerk of the Council. Effective July l, 1975, the City will contribute an additional amount, not exceeding $2.00 per month for the dental insurance plan. o Effective April l, 1976, the City, as employer, will contri- bute $4.00 per month toward the purchase of a long-term Dis- ability Income Protection Plan for the Clerk of the Council. In the event the premium cost exceeds $4.00 per month, the Clerk of the Council will bear such additional cost.
