<br />Protests were read from Mrs. Anna S. Hockaday, owner of a lot on the west side of
<br />Bush Street being the third lot south of 16th Street, for the weed assessment charg
<br />of $12.00; from Iva Carl for cleaning a lot 44' x 100' located at the northeast
<br />corner of West Pine and South Ross Streets, billed for $4B.20, and from J.C.Greuerd~
<br />2024 W. Eighth Street, for cleaning a lot 50' x 60', in the amount of $24.00, and o:
<br />motion of Councilm~n Je~, seconded by Markel and carried, the protests were
<br />received and filed. Walter C. Collins verbally protested the weed cleaning charge
<br />of $72.00 on two pieces of properties located on the north and south sides of East
<br />Sixth Street and described as a portion of Section 7, Township 5, Range 9. It was

<br />mOved by~Heinly that an adjustment be made in the weed assessment bill of Iva C~rl
<br />
<br />to the extent of 50~, or $21.00. Motion lost for lack of a second. On motion
<br /> seconded by Jerome and carried, the weed assessment protests
