RESOLUTION NO. 74-161 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO <br />CHANGE THE CLASS TITLE OF POLICE CADET TO COMMUNITY <br />SERVICE OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers <br />and employees of the City of Santa Ama; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ Section 1004~ Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Aha <br />requires the City Manager to prepare~ install and maintain a position classification <br />and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the <br />City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS~ the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to change the title of the Police Cadet class in <br />order to more accurately describe the community service aspects of its assigned duties <br />and responsibilities. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as <br />amended~ is hereby further amended by changing the class title of Police Cadet to <br />Community Service Officer. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on the 20th day <br />of November, 1974. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular <br />meeting held on the 18th day of November , 1974. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE )SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
