· Orientation of signs within the immediate area of the <br />River-Santiago Creek Greenbelt corridor shall be strictly regu- <br />lated so as not to intrude on the corridor. <br /> <br /> · Density and development shall be regulated by the above <br />mentioned control considerations. <br /> <br /> · The riverbed and creekbed shall provide maximum amount of <br />scenic and recreational improvements, while providing flood <br />control protection. <br /> <br /> · Landscaping within the river and creek area shall conform <br />to the Landscape Guide for the Santa Ana/Santiago Creek Green- <br />belt Corridor. <br /> <br /> State Freeways <br /> <br /> · Land uses requiring outdoor storage adjacent to freeways <br />shall provide adequate screening to limit visual impact. <br /> <br /> · The State freeway system within the City shall be land- <br />scaped. <br /> <br /> · Signs oriented toward the freeway system shall be limited <br />in square footage and height. <br /> <br /> · Parking areas for land uses abutting the freeway system <br />shall be oriented away from the freeway. <br /> <br /> · Future freeway alignments shall provide maximum amount of <br />landscaping and shall be below grade of surrounding land uses <br />where feasible. <br /> <br /> Local Streets <br /> <br /> · Local streets with unique <br />treatments shall be maintained. <br /> <br />scenic or visual <br /> <br /> <br />
